  27. Hmmm...you might be able to leave the Shadow version of your text thick 
  28. (don't flatten it out) and then set Transparency to about 1% and turn on 
  29. Transparent Edges...this may or may not work.

  31. If it doesn't work, then try dissolving out your Text object and render
  32. the Shadow object by itself, blur the image to your liking with some 
  33. image processing software and then render the Text object with the 
  34. blurred Shadow image in the background.
